Afrobasket 2017: D’Tigers Lose Finals To Tunisia
Nigeria’s senior male basketball team, D’Tigers, has failed to defend their Afrobasket title, after they lost to co-hosts Tunisia 77-65 in the final played on Saturday.
Two years ago, the team won the trophy on the same ground.

Nigeria won the first quarter 14-8, but lost the second quarter as Tunisia took a 25-24 lead into the break.
The Tunisians won the third quarter 52-40, making it very difficult for D’Tigers to get back into the game.
Tunisia wrapped up victory 77-65 in the last quarter, to be crowned the new African champions.
