Atiku names Saraki, Anyim, Shekarau, others as special advisers

Former Senate Presidents Bukola Saraki and Pius Anyim have been appointed by PDP presidential contender Atiku Abubakar as special envoy and adviser, respectively.

His media adviser, Paul Ibe, said in a statement on Monday that his presidential campaign team has been strengthened by the important special adviser appointments.

Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, a former governor of Osun State, Senator Ehigie Uzamere, and Senator Ibrahim Shekarau were also named by Atiku as special advisers.

Prince Uche Secondus, a former national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), was also chosen to serve as the presidential candidate’s technical adviser.

“The appointments are effective right away.

In order to ensure that the PDP presidential campaign has a resounding victory in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar ordered the appointees to use their wealth of political expertise.
