Brad Pitt Is ‘Happier’ And ‘Healthier’ After Angelina Jolie Split

Brad Pitt is bouncing back! After going through separation from estranged wife Angelina Jolie, the “Allied” actor is said to finally be coming to terms with the breakup. A source says to E! News that the 54-year-old actor is now “happier and healthier.”

“The separation was brutal and a very sad time in his life,” the source adds, “[Brad] made some important changes and is much better off now. He is happier and healthier. He has an active social life and has rekindled old friendships. He goes out to dinner a lot and enjoys being out doing different things.”

The actor, who is set to star opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, reportedly “spent a lot of time alone and in private looking at himself and reevaluating what was most important and who he wanted to be.” The source goes on to explain, “Now he’s in a place where he’s implemented those changes and has a lot more clarity. He’s come out of that dark time and is in a much better place.”

Brad and Angelina share 6 kids, 16-year-old Maddox, 14-year-old Paz, 13-year-old Zahara, 11-year-old Shiloh and 9-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. In September 2016, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad after two years of marriage.

The news comes after Brad made a very rare appearance at the Gersh Agency’s pre-Oscars party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 1. Alongside his manager Chyntia Pett-Danter, he arrived at the bash, which was held ahead of the 90th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, looking handsome in a black coat and a scarf.

A party-goer said that the actor “looked happy and healthy.” Another source added, “Brad had a big smile on his face and looked really happy, relaxed and healthy. He drank water as he chatted with friends.” During the star-studded bash, which was attended by the likes of Allison Janney, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Olsen and Angela Bassett, Brad was said to be spending his time chatting with Oscar-winning actor Sam Rockwell and his manager as “he was not in a flirting mood.”
