Chidozie Awaziem completes loan switch to Leganes from Porto
Chidozie Awaziem has completed a loan switch to La Liga side CD Leganes from FC Porto.
The Nigerian international, 22, who spent last season at Turkish side Caykur Rizesporon loan, and participated at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations for Nigeria, is joining the Spanish club on a season-long loan, according to a report on the Spanish outfit official website.
“Awaziem is a right-handed center that can adapt to the lateral position. Large and fast, he has a good aerial game and ball movement.
“He was recruited by Porto in the 2014/15 season from the El-Kanemi Warriors Academy in Nigeria,” the report read in part.
Awaziem, who will link up with his fellow Nigerian star Kenneth Omeruo, has been handed the No 12, and will be unveiled soon.
