Ronaldo scored with his 28th attempt in Serie A, the same amount as it took him last season in LaLiga.  Sassuolo defender Ferrari tried to

head behind a corner, but his clearance hit the inside of the post and came straight to Ronaldo who was in the right place at the right time to

tap in to give Juventus the lead 5 minutes into the second half.

The 33-year-old then doubled Juve’s lead 15 minutes later, with a powerful left foot after a counter-attack strike from Emre Can’s through ball.
