Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr To face Al Ittihad In Battle For Top Spot In The League
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to lead the charge for Al Nassr on Thursday when they face Al Ittihad in a battle for the top spot in the Saudi Pro League table.
Although two points separate both sides, a win for either team will see them take over as league leaders.
Despite Al Nassr’s supreme position on the table, Al Ittihad is a tough opponent, having conceded only six goals in 19 league matches this season.
Ronaldo and his teammates would have to bring their A-game to the table to get past their fiercest rival.
Al Ittihad’s defensive record is impressive, without conceding even one goal in their six matches since they defeated Al Nassr 3-1 in the Super Cup. Ronaldo’s early splits in the Saudi League are impressive, as he hasn’t yet scored in three home league matches, but he has eight goals in three road matches, including a hat-trick at Damac and a four-goal outburst against Al-Wehd
