Digital Discoveries is organized by 69entertainment Brand in conjunction with Emolamidayo Consult, A digital marketing training program which was held to enlighten students on the significance of digital marketing as a personal branding tool, this is because Digital is transformative and undergraduates need to be empowered at every stage of their journey, to always view digital marketing as a way of life.
The President of Mass communication department Temitope Shittu, gave an opening remark on how delighted she was about the program. The vision, mission, and objectives of digital discoveries was shared by a member of the team James Kehinde she says ‘’ As digital technologies continue to reshape the competitive landscape, students are challenged to stay informed, adapt, and make strategic decisions in a space that’s constantly evolving, hence Digital discoveries events across universities allows participants to engage in the exploration of new ideas, insights, and experiences from the guest speakers, and their peers’’.
Further More, Solomon Amadi who is a certified security expert and adaptive web developer had an interactive session with the students on the relevance of digital marketing in the society. The guest speakers of the day were; Mr. Akinpelu Lanre who talked about developing the skills to build an actionable digital strategy that aligns with your business goals, understanding your followers on social media and creating an optimal brand story for your brand
Mr. Okpe Matthias highlighted that is very important for students and brand owners to always craft out his/her brand positioning statements, he talked about Why content is king (and why it isn't), tools and insights. Mr. Stanley Awelewa explained Digital Marketing etiquette rules to students and its significance,
social listening, and monitoring and Identifying ways to determine the return on investment (ROI) for your digital efforts.
However, there was a performance by a fantastic Magician popularly known as Felven Brain_Magician who captured the mind and thrilled the students with his stage performances. All in All, a closing remark was given by Taiwo James CEO 69entertainment Brand as she took the opportunity to appreciate her team who made this possible Emolamidayo Consult, Desmond Oke, Idris Adeniji, Michael Ezemuo, Kenny James, Shewenzi and the Bowen Team, Mass communication
students as a whole.
With motivation from the guest speakers, a chance for student to interact with key industry leaders in their own respective fields, it was truly a day to remember.
