Eva Alordiah explains why she quit music



In the late 2000s and early 2010s, Eva Alordiah was one of the most popular rappers in Nigeria. She was expected to become one of the bestselling songstresses in the music industry, however, she fizzled from mainstream media in the late 2010s. She has now revealed why she stepped aside from the industry.

Recall Eva Alordiah was one of the entertaining female rappers in the music industry.

She shared the stage with popular Nigerian artists and was on a track with P-Square. However, she stopped making music abruptly then moved to Ghana.

On Friday, January 8, the former rapper explained why she stopped making music after a fan asked.

“I still don’t know why you stopped making music,” the fan commented on her latest post.

And Eva, who is also a writer and makeup artist, responded, “I stopped to get back to my core essence. I stopped for me.”

The last time the talent rapper got us all buzzing was in 2019 when she dropped the video to her short film ‘Where’s The Condom.’

Eva Alordiah has displayed her ability to act out movie characters with her first short movie, ‘Where’s the condom?’

The rapper gave a good shot at acting and dared the society by showing off side boobs in one of the scenes of 10 minutes 18 seconds long short film.

‘Where’s the condom?’ tells the short story Elohor – played by Eva Alordiah – who was lost in the heat of the moment with her lover, Ade – played by Bobby Uranta – and had consensual sex.

Things, however, went wrong when Ade’s condom pulled off during sex and Elohor only noticed after the sex.

Filmed by Patrick Elis, the short movie was premiered on YouTube on Tuesday, February 12, 2018.

‘Where’s the condom’ also features Bobby Uranta, stephanie Bassey, and Athena Prisca Shitta.
