Fashion Brand SWISH Holds Private Collection Showcase In Ilorin

Swish creator and designer, Dimeji Ilori brings high fashion to his home city of Ilorin at his private collection showcase for his new collection. The designer’s garments have been spotted on some of the city’s most iconic and sophisticated persons including Mr. Stephen Okonmah, Director of operations Artwest, Femi Ogunbanwo, and musician Sonorous among others.

Some of the fashion’s favorites face convened at the Blu Flamingo Bar of the most expensive hangout spot in the city, The Sydney, G.R.A Ilorin. Among fashionable guests were the life of the party shola Rahman and his friends, Thayour360 of P & F Models, DJ Atech, Amb. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki and actor Tope Adebayo to name a few.
The venue was transformed into a fascinating theatrical experience with some of his creations on mannequins and life models, aspiring young models he selected from universities across the state. The guests amazed and bewildered were drawn into his universe the moment the models hit the runway accompanied by background music carefully picked by Dimeji himself, “conscious music as he calls it.
When asked He said he sees fashion as a pathway to travel freely in between worlds, to JOURNEY.
Reluctant to take the customary final bow and refusing to grant an interview after his show, one thing is certain, He’s different and as otherworldly and outspoken as his creations are, his personality is the opposite, calm and quiet, he almost hardly speaks.
