Fire Engulfs Governor Of Kano State’s Residence
Outgoing Governor of Kano state, Dr Abdulahi Ganduje’s personal residence at Miyangu Street in Nassarawa GRA Kano, has been engulfed by fire.
The State Fire Service disclosed to newsmen on Thursday, May 25, that the fire incident happened on Monday night, May 22.
The Public Relations Officer of the State Fire Service, Saminu Abdullahi, said the fire was already under control by the time firefighters got to the residence.
The fire began at a place where Ganduje rears cows. Many of the animals died in the inferno and some parts of the multi-million-naira property was razed down. Up until time of publication no confirmed fatalities.
