Undoubtedly one of the hottest concert in recent times, the WizOnTheBeach concert sold out massively. The event was graced with the presence of notable entertainers such as Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Terry Apala, Comedian Ebiye, Pencil and the Starboy Wizkid.

With the concert living up to its billing as one of the hottest to hit the shores of Lagos, one would think that getting the props paid would have been a minor issue. However, reports reaching our desk have it that the brains behind this iconic musical concert, flu3nt and Xmedia Nigeria, have been left unattended to by Hard Rock Café despite their efforts in sacrificing time and energy to the success of the event.

According to our source, and some tweets making the rounds on the internet, it is was reported that some vendors’ payments has been snubbed, the sound management has also been left unattended to; alongside promoters, including the stage producer, Producer inc; and those in charge of other technical logistics.

Truthfully, it is very pathetic that the host of an event with such magnitude would choose to eject the brains behind it from its payroll. Things like this happen and it is really disheartening because it sees hard work go unrewarded.

We hope the hosts do the needful by paying the people who sacrificed their time, treasure and talents in making WizOnTheBeach a success.
