Harry Carter releases Carterstrophy E.P, a holistic sequel to his mixtape “Carterlyst” released in 2020.

Emotions are the easiest way to communicate our feelings to people and Harry Carter bares it all out on his startling new E.P Carterstrophy, screaming “C’est La vie, this is me!” an outcry to rebel against your fears. Venturing towards the future, the Boy wonder explores a variant collection of styles, messages and genres.

The carefully assorted blend of comeback songs on the Music Project shows a huge growth & carefree exuberance with which the rapper wants to have positive impact on the world as he hopes to inspire, entertain and educate.

TRACK 1; C’EST LA VIE”

”On God I’m everything they said I’ll never be” are the first words on the EP from “C’est La vie”, an anthem for every believer, hustler & nonconformist who strongly believe in their dreams and are breaking industry & societal rules, withholding every setback and reinforcing their place on the table on their own terms!

TRACK 2; BABY FEAT. DUMONE

A Love letter sang in two common languages to Nigerians, English & Pidgin on a calm mix of afrobeats with some pop fusion, Dumone and Harry Carter express their feelings to a woman they both share a passion for, as Harry Carter sings “Reconsider…”, Dumone sings “Baby if u leave me, Yawa go dey”

Showering her with praises and gimmicks to win her over the best way they can. Just like the Lady, this song is just as easy to fall in love with.

TRACK 3; HERO

Sometimes we end up wishing there were a Superman out there to help bring about a world of Peace and Justice, a beacon of heroism for our society, but Life has its own dynamics.

This song boldly protests against draconian treatments on the masses by Governments. Several protests sprung up in summer 2020, from Black Lives Matter to ENDSARS, Harry Carter affirms drawing inspiration from the sheer bravery of this New Generation who have become Heroes for themselves knowing there’s no Kryptonian in a Kent barn waiting for the right time to save Mankind. This challenge is ours to battle and “Hero” is a torch to spark youths for positive change.

TRACK 4; WHAT YOU PREACH

Practice “what you preach” is a really emotional song, a heartbroken emo guy whose Ex had just reopened an old wound by making contact out of emotional necessity during the pandemic, a year after cheating on him, yet at the same time leading an holier than thou persona on twitter.

Proving the reality of people not being as faithful but they sure do hold the gospel of Fidelity high.

TRACK 5; CORNERSTONE

The stone that the builder refused, a diamond in the rough.

This song could be titled ‘Dark Horse’, ‘Ugly Duckling’ Or ‘Black sheep’ and the message will be as clear as crystal as the rapper talks about rejection and learning from it, picking up the pieces thrown at us and making do with it.

TRACK 6; SAY NO MORE

“Say No More” is probably the most experimental song on this project as it’s a mix of Hip-Hop, Pop and EDM, an exceptional and expressional head over heels song for a special someone.

“I know you’ve been hurt but Say No More”

A compelling melody of assurance.

‘Welcome to the Carter Universe. From here on it’s to the stars & beyond!’
