Jay-Z & Beyonce Buy New Bel-Air Mansion For $90 Million
A house warming party is in order, because Jay-Z and Beyonce just bought a home in Los Angeles.
The high-powered music couple have plopped down $ 90 million on a massive home in Bel-Air, according to the L.A. Times.
Construction of the modern mansion was completed this year. The estate boasts six structures, with around 30,000 square feet of interior space, in addition to expansive patios and terraces that create an additional 10,000 square feet of living space outdoors.
It sits on nearly two acres, which boasts a full basketball court and separate staff quarters; garage space for 15 vehicles as well as a motor court and an area for staff parking; spa and wellness facilities; a media room; and four outdoor swimming pools.
Furthermore, there are glass-walled common areas that open on two sides to showcase panoramic views, while pocketing glass doors and windows are bulletproof.
The $ 90 million sale will be the highest this year in Los Angeles County, besting the $ 85-million sale of David Geffen’s compound in Malibu. It will also tie last year’s sale of storied Owlwood for the third-most expensive historically in the L.A. area.
