Kendall & Kylie Jenner Apologize After Being BLASTED Over Controversial Music Icons T-Shirts
Kylie and Kendall Jenner have finally apologised following the outrage over their exploitation of late rappers Tupac Shakur and Biggie images.
The drama started recently after hip hop fans discovered that the sisters superimposed their selfies over the iconic images of legendary rappers Tupac and Biggie. Folks dragged them on social media for this and the mother of Biggie, Voletta Wallace, threatened them with a lawsuit.
Sharon took to Twitter to tell the girls to stay in their lane.
As of now, the shirts have been pulled from Kendall & Kylie’s shop and the girls have issued an apology.
“We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in anyway,” said the sisters who have often been called out for appropriating black culture.
“We deeply apologise to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially the families of the artists,” they said in the statement.
