Kolarov Completes €5m Move To AS Roma From Man City
“The club is pleased to confirm the signing of defender Aleksandar Kolarov from English side Manchester City,” Roma wrote on their official website on Saturday.
“Kolarov joins the Giallorossi on a permanent transfer for a fee of €5 million.
“The 31-year-old has signed a three-year contract that runs until 30 June 2020.”
“I am extremely happy to be here,” Kolarov told the Roma website. “I will give 100 per cent and more for Roma.
“My objective is always the same: to win.”
Kolarov joined City in 2010 from Roma’s city rivals Lazio and won the Premier League title twice with the Manchester in 2012 and 2014, making 250 appearances for the club in all competitions.
“Aleksandar Kolarov has joined Roma on a permanent deal from City,” the EPL club confirmed on their own website.
“The Serbian spent seven years at the Etihad Stadium, a period that saw the Club win two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups.
“He will now join up with the Italian side in Boston on their pre-season tour of the USA and begin the next chapter of his career.”
