Kwara Youth Unity Forum Rallies Support for Hon. Moshood Mustapha’s Gubernatorial Ambition

The Kwara Youth Unity Forum has drum support for the gubernatorial ambition of the Special Adviser to the Senate President on Special Duties and Legislative Matters, Hon. Moshood Mustapha come 2019.
This was made known in a press statement signed and made available to this medium by the National Unity Forum, Comrade Shafi Ismail Alada in Ilorin yesterday.
The statement described the former Ilorin West and Asa federal lawmaker as a great philanthropist who derived joy in putting smiles on the faces of the masses.
It’s re-affirmed that Hon. Mustapha as a great politician, stands firmly on goodwill and generosity to serve mankind and cannot be compared with any in the political cycle across the state.
It’s stated that Hon. Mustapha had considerably helped the youths and women with various empowerment programmes and development for greater and better tomorrow.
It’s further stated that he had personally sponsored reasonable number of youths to study both in Nigeria and abroad, pointing out that his relentless efforts facilitated a lot of employment opportunities for the lucky unemployed youths in his constituency.
It is on record that the former federal lawmaker has so far been able to secure employment for some youths in national organizations and agencies like NESREA, NASS, NSCDC, NNRA, MINING, FCSC, NTA, NIMASA, NETCO, FIRS, NPC, NTI, NNRA, UITH and many more. It is also on record that he changed the primitive ideas of information and communication with the establishment of multi-million naira Information Communication Technology (ICT) center located at Hiwanul-Islam LGEA, Oke-Aluko, Ilorin, where prosperous youths are been trained on ICT.
The statement added that over one hundred and twenty indigent students from Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Law School from Ilorin Emirate have been assisted financially in the course of their studies, stating that 87 ambitious students who passed their O’ Level results for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across 29 wards in his constituency have been assisted also.
“237 students are registered for NABTEB and extra moral classes where students were thoroughly tutored in preparation for the examination was organized”. “He constructed a block of three class rooms for the Markaz Murtardoh, Madi in Ubandawki ward in Ilorin West local government”, the statement added.
The statement said that over 64 hand-pumps and five motorized bore holes water system in Asa, and over 25 hand-pumps and four motorized bore holes water system in Ilorin West were constructed by him, adding that, he had facilitated 500KVA transformer for Onikeke community in Asa local government area to make life easy for the people that encountered difficulties couple of years back.
It’s maintained that he performed credibly well when he was a commissioner for Lands and Housing, Commissioner for Agriculture and Amiru-Hajj of Kwara State, calling on all Kwarans to give their maximum support to the aspirations of Hon. Mashood Mustapha come 2019.
