Lionel Messi Reveals Why He Will Never Be Friends With Ronaldo
Barcelona star, Lionel Messi, has admitted he does not think he will ever be good friends with Cristiano Ronaldo, despite the Real Madrid forward claiming the pair could be pals in the future.
The duo have remained rivals throughout their careers, taking turns to win the Ballon d’Or since 2008.
Although Messi and Ronaldo have never shown disdain for each other in public, they are not known to have a relationship off the pitch.
The Argentine feels it might never happen in the foreseeable future.
“I don’t know if we will be [friends in the future],” Messi told World Soccer magazine.
“Friendship is built through spending time together and getting to know each other.
