Manchester City Preparing ‘£75 million Move’ For Real Madrid Star Making Him A Club-Record Signing

Manchester City are reportedly ready to break their transfer record on Real Madrid midfielder Isco this summer.

Isco, 25, has started 18 La Liga games and six Champions League matches this season but, according to The Sun, he fears his playing opportunities could soon become restricted under Zinedine Zidane and is ready to quit the Bernabeu.

It is claimed that City boss Pep Guardiola is willing to spend £75million on Isco, who has twice turned down City in the past but is now ready to say yes.

French centre back Aymeric Laporte is City’s most expensive signing to date after joining from Athletic Bilbao for a £57m fee in January.

Although he brought in Laporte for big money, Guardiola did not get everything he wanted in January and — after missing out on Alexis Sanchez and Riyad Mahrez — the ex-Barcelona boss remains keen on strengthening his attacking midfield options.

Isco, who has hit five goals and provided the same number of assists in La Liga this season, would add depth to an area in which City are already bursting with talent.
