Model Diagnosed With Rare Skin Disease That Makes Her Wrinkle Prematurely

Model, Sara Geurts, 26, has a rare form of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a disease that makes her look older and wrinkle prematurely.

She was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome when she was younger and it got worse as she entered puberty.

For most women, this might be a reason to hide away from the world most especially the camera but for Sara she’s embracing all of it through modelling.

She started a Love Your Lines Campaign which focuses on enabling women embrace their imperfections and also allows them share their journey.

Her hope is to raise awareness for Ehlers through photography in order to make impact, and she also aims to be one of the first recognized models with Ehlers-Danlos.

Sara is putting herself out there making sure to teach people to accept others the way they are and also love whatever makes them unique instead of trying to change who they are.
