Mourinho Wants Mata, Herrera to leave Manchester United

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has told two of the club’s stars, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera to leave the club if they want to do so.

Mata has completed 90 minutes on just six occasions this season and is stuck behind Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the club’s midfield pecking order.

On his part, Herrera has not had an easy campaign as he lost his starting berth to Nemanja Matic following the Serbian’s arrival from Stamford Bridge.

The Portuguese is planning a summer overhaul after falling behind Manchester City in the Premier League.

Marca quoted a source at Old Trafford as saying that Mourinho has told, “the Spanish duo to leave.”

The Red Devils spent £160m last summer but the former Chelsea boss wants a centre-back, a full-back and a central midfielder to challenge for the title next term.
