Nigerian Government Will Be Remembered For Attacking Innocent Protesters – Ighalo
Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo has condemned the Nigerian government over the mass shooting at the protest ground in the Lekki area of Lagos.
This is coming after unharmed #Endsars protesters were opened fire on by alleged shooters in military uniform leaving tenths of protesters injured.
Taken to Instagram, Odion Ighalo while sharing a blood-stained flag of the country shared a video of himself calling out for help from international bodies.
The professional footballer criticized the government of Nigeria for sending the military to the street, fully armed against peaceful protesters exercising their civil rights for a better nation. He further emphasized on the need for the total overhaul of the government while stressing how embarrassing the situation is.
