Olowa Of Igbara Oke And Other Traditional Rulers Join Akeredolu At His Daughter’s Wedding Ceremony



The Paramount Ruler and the Prescribed Ruler , His Royal Majesty, Oba Francis Adefarakanmi Agbede, the Ogidi III, on Sarturday joined the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN as he gave his daughter’s hand to Mr. Olatunde in marriage.
Others present at the occasion were the new Chairman of Ondo state Council of Obas, Oba Dr. Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom, and other prominent tradition Rulers.
The National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu had earlier in the day joined the Engagement programme at the residence of Governor Akeredolu along with other dignitaries and well wishers from all walks of life.
At the reception, Governor Akeredolu took his daughter to the dancing floor to the admiration of his wife, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu, the bridegroom and all dignitaries present shortly after the cutting of the cake by the new couple.
The Ooniresa, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II was not left out as he arrived the reception venue to add beauty to the marriage programme at the tail end of the ceremony.
Politicians, captain of Industries, academics, religious and traditional leaders as well as top government functionaries in the state were present at the epoch making ceremony to cheer the governor and his wife.
Prominent personalities present include, Governors Kayode Fayemi, of Ekiti, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, former governors of Lagos as well as Osun, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bisi Akande, minister of state labour and productivity, Tayo Alasoadura, minister of state for health, Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora, first Lady of Edo, Betsy Obaseki and her Nasarawa state counterpart.
Others are former governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, immediate governor of Adamawa, Bala Ngilari,  and other top government functionaries.
