Biodun Fatoyinbo, senior pastor and founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) who has been in police custody at Nigerian Police Force Headquarters in Abuja has been granted bail and released.
This was disclosed in a late night report by Vanguard newspaper.
According to the newspaper, Fatoyinbo’s long stay at the police headquarters was due to the late arrival of Fatoyibo’s witness from Port Harcourt.
“Now that he has come from Port Harcourt to make his statement (as at 8pm), his bail process has commenced.
“His surety has been on ground to take him on bail. He will be granted bail in a matter of minutes,” the paper reported, quoting an unnamed source.
