Religious Groups In Senegal Ban Rihanna From Visit Over Alleged ‘Illuminati’ Membership
About 32 Religious groups have come against Rihanna’s visit to Senegal for Charity fund raising towards girls’ education in the country.
The award winning international singer is due to appear alongside French President, Emmanuel Macron at a high-level summit in Senegal today but some religious groups have declared her persona non-grata.
A group known as ‘No To Freemasonry And Homosexuality’ is protesting her visit claiming that she’s a member of the ‘Illuminati’.
Rihanna will be visiting the West African nation in her role as an ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). The organization aims to help fund the teaching of millions of children and young people in developing countries.
However, Senegal’s interior minister has been quoted as saying he will ensure the safety of all conference attendees.
