Terry Crew’s Abuser Adam Venit Tells Him to Relax, It Wasn’t Sexual Assault

Amid the Harvey Weinstein scandal last Autumn, former NFL player, and actor Terry Crews publicly admitted to being sexually assaulted himself. Crews played for the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins, before going on to star in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Everybody Hates Chris, White Chicks, and The Expendables series.

“This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to ME,” tweeted Crews last October. He continued on to reveal that he had his genitals grabbed by an affluent Hollywood agent in front of his wife at a party. Crews claimed that the executive later called to apologize, but the situation was a catalyst for his involvement in the #MeToo movement.

Crews filed a sexual harassment lawsuit, and now, Adam Venit has come forward to defend his name. Venit, who is employed by William Morris Endeavor, is the Hollywood agent in question that assaulted Crews. According to TMZ, Venit has filed a response to actor Terry’s lawsuit. He adamantly denies the occurrence took place and goes on to state that even if it did, the intent was not sexual and there was no harm caused.

Sources do confirm that Venit grabbed Crews’ genitals as drunken horseplay during the party.
