Torres Signs Contract Extension With Atletico Madrid
Fernando Torres has signed a one-year extension with Atletico Madrid ahead of the 2017/2018 season, the club announced Wednesday.

Torres is in his second stint with his boyhood club, having re-joined from AC Milan in January 2015.
His contract ran out this summer and he was rumoured to be on his way out, but the 33-year-old has now committed himself to the La Liga side for at least one more year.
“I am very happy to continue one more year together,” Torres said a in brief statement on Atleti’s official website.
Torres has netted 105 goals for Atletico, including 28 under current boss Diego Simeone.
