Tyga Defends His Controversial Album Cover Says “It’s Art, Man”
Popular American rapper, Tyga unveiled the cover for his upcoming album earlier this week — and it’s definitely something.
The artwork features a naked woman-like-animal with tiger stripes lying down in front of a Japanese flag.
People were quick to slam the artwork as ‘disgusting’ and ‘distasteful’ on social media, but Tyga doesn’t seem to care.
According to Tmz, Tyga laughed off the backlash his cover’s received … some calling it furry porn and even disrespectful to the Japanese flag. But the rapper counter-punched with some solid arguments … for starters, the man behind the paintbrush is Japanese cult artist Hajime Sorayama.
If this cover’s got you hot or bothered, Tyga’s apparently got more on deck.
See what all he had to say below.
