Watch The #AFCON2019 Official Song by Femi Kuti, Dobet Gnahoré & Hakim
The AFCON Organizing Committee commissioned three international singers to perform the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) official song in the opening ceremony.
Four-time Grammy nominated Afrobeats artist, Femi Kuti, Ivorian singer Dobet Gnahoré, and Egyptian folk-singer Hakim were chosen to perform the “Metgameen” (which translates to “we are together”) anthem as part of the opening ceremony.
