Watch The Trailer For John Boyega’s Upcoming Movie ‘Pacific Rim Uprising’

John Boyega, whose character “Pentecost” is the son of a late pilot, Charlie Hunnam (previously played by Idris Elba) is back as a Jaegar pilot in the second part of the ‘Pacific Rim Uprising’ movie.

John is the lead actor in the movie alongside Scott Eastwood and Cailee Spaeny where his character must team up with the other actors to save their world from invasion from some monsters (Kaiju) who have gotten entrance from the sea by someone in their world who betrayed them.

John’s character, Jake Pentecost is initially very unsure of himself, thinking he is not as great as his dad, saying “I’m not a hero like he was” but as soon as he gains his confidence, he is a great leader to their new pilot ‘cadet’ recruits.

The new movie is to hit Nigerian cinemas on the 23rd of March, 2018.
