West Ham sign Nigerian Striker Oladapo Afolayan
Nigerian striker, Oladapo Afolayan, has signed for English Premier League side West Ham United, after a short trial.
The London club confirmed the deal in a statement on its official website.
Afolayan arrives from the National League club, Solihul Moors,
He initially spent time with West Ham’s U-23 side, who are playing in the Premier League 2, before putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.
Blessed with pace and an eye for goal, the 20-year-old will be hoping to re-enact same form that saw him score goals for fun in the National League.
Afolayan is eligible to represent England, the land of his birth; he can also play for Nigeria as his father is from the West African country.
