Yemi Alade, Falz, Waje, Seyi Shay & Others Light Up Abuja At The Afrikan Festival
On the 31st of December 2018, Nigerian Music star, Yemi Alade lit up Abuja as she thrilled fans into the year of 2019 with an explosive concert tagged “The Afrikan Festival”.
The concert took place at the Central Park Abuja, and was hosted by Denrele Edun, Beverly Osu, Nancy Isime and Shody The Turn-up King; the hosts ushered into the new year with a countdown climaxing with brilliant fireworks and spirited cheers from guests in attendance.
The award-winning performer the took to the stage will an eagle, and thrilled with electric renditions of songs from her rich discography aided by her Ova Sabi band. Miss Alade brought out L.A.X, Skales, then was joined by Waje for an emotive duet of “I’m Available”, followed by Seyi Shay.
Shay and Alade sang “Yolo” together as fans screamed in excitement. The climax was when Yemi brought out Falz to join her to perform”Single & Searching” before ending the night with a blockbuster performance of “Johnny”.
