
Fréjus AHOUANDJINOU, known as Makolipo, is a Beninese singer-songwriter whose career bridges Benin and Nigeria. Inspired by his teenage years in Abuja, he channels the city’s culture and energy into his music. His debut EP, “Fireworks”, featuring the heartfelt track “Abuja”, showcases his unique blend of cultural influences and emotional storytelling.
Before the release of his first EP, including the track “Abuja”, he released the single “Besoin d’argent”, a track whose rhythm and theme received a favorable response from music lovers.
*Besoin d’argent* is a track that deals with the orientation of youth towards practical financial empowerment from a young age, thus indexing the basic school education system, not to incite learners to revolt or boycott, but to implore and encourage the education system to improve things, the teaching contents, to bring reforms to better guide young people according to their aptitudes and talents and this through practical training contents to empower them as early as possible because of to the harsh reality of the financial needs of working life which becomes harder and more demanding day by day.
