Tottenham Hotspur has completed a season-long loan deal for French forward Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, the Premier League club announced on Monday. The move marks a return to the Premier League for the 26-year-old, who spent the latter part of last season on loan at Juventus.
Kolo Muani’s time in Italy was impactful, as he scored five goals in his first three Serie A games and netted a brace during Juventus’s Club World Cup campaign. Despite his desire to remain with the Italian giants, a permanent transfer could not be agreed upon, leading to his return to London.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new chapter, Kolo Muani stated, “I know what the coach expects from me. I will fight hard for the shirt, the club, and the fans. I will give everything for this team.”
The forward was signed by PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 for a reported fee of €90 million but struggled to secure a regular starting spot under coach Luis Enrique. Despite his club form, he has remained a consistent fixture in Didier Deschamps’s French national squad. This loan move to Tottenham offers Kolo Muani an opportunity to regain his form and become a key contributor in the Premier League.
