Barcelona continued their impressive start to the La Liga season with a dominant 5-1 victory over Sevilla at the Camp Nou on Sunday evening. Robert Lewandowski and Pablo Torre were the stars of the show, each bagging a brace for the Catalan giants.

Lewandowski opened the scoring for Barcelona from the penalty spot in the 24th minute, before adding another goal just before halftime to put his side firmly in control. In between those goals, Pedri added a third for Barcelona with a well-taken strike from outside the area.

Sevilla pulled one goal back midway through the second half through Stanis Idumbo, but Barcelona restored their four-goal advantage just six minutes later with Torre’s first goal. The young midfielder then completed his brace with a free-kick in the closing stages to put the icing on the cake for Barcelona.

This emphatic victory sees Barcelona open up a three-point gap at the top of La Liga ahead of next weekend’s El Clasico clash against Real Madrid. It was also a significant night for Gavi, who made his long-awaited return from injury as a late substitute for Barcelona.

The win showcased Barcelona’s attacking prowess, with both Lewandowski and Torre proving to be a potent threat in front of goal. With a crucial clash against their arch-rivals looming, Barcelona will be brimming with confidence after this emphatic display.
