Nigerian comedian Basketmouth, whose real name is Bright Okpocha, has expressed concern over the rising cost of goods and services in the country. In a post on his Instagram story, the entertainer used a series of comparisons to highlight the impact of inflation on daily life.

He wrote, “The price of street food is now the price of fast food. The price of fast food is now the price of fine dining. The price of fine dining is now the price of a house rent. The price of house rent is now the price of a house.” The post captures the frustration many Nigerians feel as prices soar across various sectors, from food to housing.

DJ Cuppy Describes Marriage as a “Powerful Partnership”

In a separate development, popular disc jockey DJ Cuppy has described marriage as the strongest and most important partnership a person can enter. In a post on Twitter, the singer referred to marriage as a bond and a shared purpose with God as the witness. She made the statement while celebrating her sister, Temi Otedola’s, marriage to singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi.
