Emmanuel Nengimote Dima Born and raised in the southern part of Nigeria, Port Harcourt City, Rivers state. He Originally hails from Bayelsa state. Known professionally as Dima (FKA) Susss is a Nigerian singer, song writer and performer. He gained recognition in 2022 after releasing his single �Radar� that gained attention from lots of listeners around different parts of Nigeria. And got him nominated in the next rated artist category at the Galaxy Music Awards same year.
Family
Dima was born into a loving family of 5 siblings, in Borikiri, the suburb of Port harcourt City. His late Dad was a deep lover of good music, while growing up genres like Jazz, Raggae and Afro beat records were been played always, this helped in shaping his musical taste. He grew up in a household filled with so much love and unity, his mother a Pentecostal Christian and his late Dad was a well known High Chief in their native home town. After the passing of his beloved father, he found a new sense of purpose in his music. As a tribute to his memory, he adopted his name �Dima� as his stage name which holds deep meaning to him. By doing so he honors his fathers legacy, embracing his roots, his story, and everything that shaped him, and it�s a constant reminder that his spirit lives through him and the music he shares with the world. Dima is not just a name, it�s his legacy.
Early life
Dima attended Wisdom Child Int�l High school, and Ignatius Ajuru University for his tertiary education. His love for music began from his early High school days, showcasing his talents in school music competitions and around his neighborhood Borikiri, this made him quite popular back then.
Dima is an Afro-fusion artiste, he grew up listening to Tuface, Damian Marley, Chris brown,Kranium and currently his sound is a sultry mixture of Afro-beat, dancehall and RnB. He draws inspiration from the likes of Burnaboy, Wande Coal and Chronixx. And the fact that he is an awesome freestyle artiste cannot be missed out. He freestyles effortlessly with sweet melodious vocals and lyrics and that�s one specialty that brought him to limelight, he is one artiste that would never have a bad song.
