England extended their lead at the top of FIFA World Cup qualifying Group K with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Andorra. The win maintains the Three Lions’ perfect record in all eight head-to-head matches against their opponents, with an aggregate score of 28-0.

Andorra’s disciplined defense forced Thomas Tuchel’s men to be patient. Debutant Elliot Anderson and Noni Madueke were at the heart of England’s attack, linking up to create several early chances. The breakthrough came in the 25th minute when Madueke’s cross deflected off an Andorran defender and found the back of the net.

Despite going a goal down, Andorra remained compact, with their goalkeeper, Iker Álvarez, making several key saves. However, England sealed the win in the 67th minute when Declan Rice headed home a pinpoint cross from Reece James.

The victory keeps England’s perfect qualifying record intact as they look ahead to their crucial match against Serbia, their closest competitor in the group. Meanwhile, Andorra remains at the bottom of the table, having suffered their 60th World Cup qualifying defeat.
