In the celebration the Christmas and New Year season, the Fatade Idowu Foundation, through its founder, Mr Idowu Olamilekan Fatade, distributed hundreds of food items to several communities of Osun state as part of his humanitarian services on the 22nd of December 2025.

The kind gesture was exhibited in communities, namely, Eripa, Otan Ayegbaju, Iresi, Okerun and Igbajo all of Boluwaduro Local Government of Osun State

The rationale behind the outreach was borne out of of his zeal and passion to support elderly members of the communities, hence, the distribution of food items and essential provisions to over 300 aged beneficiaries.

The initiative was aimed at easing the burden of the festive period and ensuring that the season of celebration was also a time of care and inclusion for the aged.

Members of the foundation noted that the exercise reflects its belief that true celebration lies in sharing and looking out for those who may be struggling. Beyond the distribution of items, the team took time to interact with the beneficiaries, offering reassurance and words of encouragement.

The Chairman of Boluwaduro Local Government, Hon. Aina Abayomi Adesina, in his remark, appreciates the kind gesture of Mr Olamilekan Idowu and further promise to collaborate with his foundation in providing support for the Community.

He further expressed appreciation to the foundation for the thoughtful intervention, describing it as timely and impactful. The community leaders acknowledged the importance of such gestures, especially in a period marked by rising living costs.

Many of the beneficiaries received the support with gratitude, stating that it brought relief and renewed hope. The founder, Mr Olamilekan Idowu, reaffirmed its commitment to continued community engagement and pledged to sustain initiatives that promote dignity, care, and social responsibility.
