The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the closure of its recruitment portal, marking the end of the application phase for various paramilitary agencies in Nigeria.

In a statement posted on its official X handle on Monday, the CDCFIB thanked all applicants for their interest and commitment. The recruitment drive, which included positions in the Federal Fire Service and other paramilitary bodies, had seen its deadline extended to accommodate more interested individuals.

The portal was initially opened on June 26 and was originally slated to close on August 4.

The board also provided clear next steps for those who applied, stating, “Shortlisted candidates will be contacted shortly with further instructions. Please monitor your email and text messages over the coming weeks for notifications.” Applicants were also encouraged to regularly check the official portal and social media channels for important updates regarding the process.
