Popular Nigerian media personality Jayonair is cooking up something fresh and funny, and it’s called The Finished Man. The highly anticipated YouTube series is set to premiere on May 8, 2025, which also marks Jay’s birthday, making this launch all the more personal and exciting.
The series was inspired by his widely loved Finished Man skits, where Jay humorously portrayed the “ideal man” from both male and female perspectives. Calm, romantic, mature, emotionally available, these traits became the blueprint for what many fans jokingly (or seriously) now call the finished man. With relatable content and clever storytelling, Jay built a strong online following, and now he’s turning those skits into a full series. This series is starring some of our great Nollywood stars and influencers in the persons of Kate Henshaw, Omowunmi Dada, Blessing Jessica Obasi, Layefa Ebitonmo, Steve Chuks, Folagede Banks, Samuel Banks, and Tomike Adeoye.
In The Finished Man, viewers can expect Relationship humour, the ideal vs. the real, relatable Nigerian dating dynamics, light-hearted but insightful moments, takes on modern relationships and the pressure to be “perfect” in love and life. The series promises to reflect the realities of everyday people, delivered with Jay’s signature wit and storytelling flair.
