The Lagos State Police Command has introduced permanent phone numbers for the offices of Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and other key officers within the state.
The primary aim of assigning these permanent phone numbers is to facilitate uninterrupted communication between the public and law enforcement officers. This ensures that citizens can easily reach out to their local police stations whenever necessary.
Additionally, the initiative allows for consistent direct access to the current DPOs across various police stations, even when these officers are reassigned.
This move is intended to eliminate any potential communication gaps that might occur due to officer transfers.
