Nemsia Studios has officially released the gripping trailer for its upcoming crime thriller The Fire and The Moth, set to premiere on May 16, 2025, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Taiwo Egunjobi and produced by Emiola Fagbenle, the film stars Tayo Faniran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Ini Dima-Okojie, Olarotimi Fakunle, and William Benson in a high-stakes tale of smuggling, betrayal, and survival.

Set in a remote western Nigerian settlement and filmed across Ibadan and the UK, The Fire and The Moth follows Saba, a daring young smuggler who finds himself in possession of a stolen Ife bronze head. As ruthless enforcers and corrupt officials close in, Saba must outwit them all to escape with his life and his loot. The trailer teases a thrilling narrative filled with tension, rich visuals, and unforgettable performances.

Speaking about the film, Taiwo Egunjobi, the director, shared: “In The Fire and The Moth, Tayo Faniran portrays a doomed smuggler delivering a stolen Ife Bronze head while being pursued by relentless forces. It�s a tense, character-driven thriller rooted in heritage and greed.” The Fire and The Moth will also be screening on May 11th at the NollywoodWeek Film Festival in Paris, France.
