The ever evolving world of Nollywood, where acts, talent and intrigue often goes intwined a new rumor is gaining grounds. Rising Nigerian actor and producer, Opara Chukwuebuka Austin, who has relentlessly stayed committed to his works gaining recognition for his stellar productions, almost perfect interpretation of roles and behind-the-scenes prowess, is said to be romantically involved with a popular actress.
This speculation started making rounds after the two were spotted together earlier this year at an awards ceremony as they both arrived together. But what gave more grounds to it all was when they both arrived at Opara�s private screening of his new movie, The Village Champion last weekend at Lekki, Lagos. Several eyewitnesses disclosed that both Opara and the mystery actress seemed inseparable, giving room for widespread curiosity about the nature of their relationship.
Opara has gained ground over the years for his breakout production, Anambra Boys which was a short series were he doubled as its lead character. The success of both producing and acting gave him a solid ground to rise from with many noting his keen eye for storytelling and the profound ability to bring out the best in his cast and crew.
Despite the rumors, neither Opara or the actress has debunked or confirm the alleged romance. But his representative stated during the private screening that, �Opara is focused on what his career is about at the moment and wouldn�t want rumors to distract his fans from the good works he is putting out there.�
Hopefully in the coming days or weeks we would either have a confirmed state of things or a formal debunking of the rumors.
