Controversial street-pop sensation Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has once again stirred the entertainment and sports worlds by challenging former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua to a fight. This bold declaration follows Portables recent triumph over fellow entertainer Speed Darlington in a much-publicized celebrity boxing bout.

Speaking after his victory, the Zazuu hitmaker confidently stated,

Now that Ive beaten Speed Darlington, it is only Anthony Joshua I can fight now.

The match, dubbed “Chaos In The Ring,” took place on April 18 at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos and was filled with drama and controversy. The fight was cut short in the second round when Speed Darlington sustained a shoulder injury that left him unable to continue. The injury, allegedly a dislocation, forced the referees to call the match in favor of Portable. The abrupt end, however, didnt sit well with Darlington.

Shortly after the match, Speed Darlington took to Instagram to express his frustration, alleging foul play and demanding a rematch.

Portable, I want a rematch. It breaks my heart you are carrying that money. It is so unfair, you have up to two experiences fighting. I have not entered the ring before, he said, visibly emotional.

He further accused the event organizers of tribal bias, insinuating that Portables Yoruba background influenced the outcome. The match, however, was stopped due to Darlingtons inability to continue rather than any judging decision.

In a typically flamboyant response, Portable dismissed the allegations with sarcasm and bravado.

I am not a loser, I am a winner. He is saying I used juju. Yes, na juju, go find your own juju, Portable quipped in a video, mocking his opponent’s claims of supernatural interference.

Adding another twist to the saga, Portable revealed he received a generous sum of N20 million from Grammywinning Afrofusion star Burna Boy following his victory. Portable expressed his gratitude and used the opportunity to pitch a musical collaboration with Burna Boy, especially since the Last Last crooner has had his own
