English League One club, Crawley Town have signed Nigeria defender, Benjamin Tanimu on a permanent deal.

Tanimu joined Crawley Town from Tanzania Premier League club, Singida Black Stars.

The Red Devils paid $850,000 to secure his services.

The 22-year-old signed a two-year contract with the option of an additional year.

�Our club has entered into an agreement with the CRAWLEY TOWN FC club in the UK that participates in LEAGUE ONE to sell our Nigerian player BENJAMIN TANIMU,� Singida Black Stars announced on Friday.

�The agreement, with a direct transfer fee (Direct Fee) and a Sell-on Fee of 20%, as well as fees for the quality and success of the player and the team for the next two seasons, is estimated at not less than $850,000.�

The former Bendel Insurance player has been capped three times by Nigeria.
