Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Boi Roya (real name Hassan Ramadan Ayomide) is a fast-rising Afrobeats artist known for his distinct tenor vocals, authentic sound, and refreshing approach to Afro rhythm and melody. His music explores themes of desire, triumph, and love, blending traditional Afrobeat influences with a modern sonic edge that sets him apart from his peers.
Roya’s journey began back in 2016, during his early secondary school days. It was then he discovered his natural gift for music and an undeniable connection to the Afrobeat sound. In 2019, he recorded his first song but kept it unreleased until a fateful moment at a show in Sangotedo — where encouragement from friends led to a small TikTok promotion campaign. That single experiment drew unexpected attention from fans and notable industry names, sparking Roya’s confidence and officially marking the beginning of his music career.
His yet-to-be-released official single, “ISILA”, is set to go live on October 15, 2025. Though only snippets have surfaced, they’re already gaining massive attention across social media platforms. The record maintains Roya’s signature emotional delivery and storytelling depth — a heartfelt Afrobeat piece inspired by a beautiful lady whose elegance and presence became the muse behind the song.
He is currently managed by Wavy Scout Inc., with Wavy Scout and Road God serving as his A&R team. Roya has worked with talented producers such as Bylinx, Duno, Elvin, Bad Ass, Jadu and Easy Beat, with mixing and mastering handled by Blaq Mix.
