Romeo Beckham has left Brentford, but he has not signed for a new club.

Instead, the 22-year-old has joined a top Paris fashion agency, as he looks to focus on a career in that industry instead.

England legend David Beckham’s son has been with the Bees’ B team since 2023 and was offered the chance to extend his contract in June.

However, according to The Sun, Beckham has left the club amid a deal with French agency Safe Management.

A source told the outlet: “Romeo has decided to hang up his football boots and devote his time to his fashion career.

“He has loved his time at Brentford but needs to focus his attention on fashion, which is where his passion lies.

“Romeo has recently signed with a top fashion agent in Paris and has his sights set on working with some massive brands.”

It’s not the first time David and Victoria Beckham’s son has changed career paths.

After playing for Arsenal as a youngster, he swapped football for tennis.

However, he returned to the sport in 2020, before signing for his dad’s Major League Soccer club Inter Miami in 2021.

He made 26 appearances for Inter Miami II, bagging two goals and 10 assists in his final season with the MLS reserves before moving to Brentford on loan in January 2023.

That deal turned permanent that summer.

But now, the Beckham’s second son will leave football behind and follow in the footsteps of his mother, formerly Posh Spice of the iconic British band Spice Girls.
