Bayern Munich and England forward Harry Kane has been crowned the winner of the 2026 Men’s Ballon d’Or. He claimed the honor at the 70th annual ceremony held at the London Palladium.
Kane became the fifth Englishman in history to receive football’s most prestigious individual award, coming 25 years after Michael Owen won the honor in 2001. His victory marks the sixth time an English player has lifted the trophy.
The 33-year-old Bayern striker edged out Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, who finished second, and Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, who took third place.
