Stephen Curry delivered a breathtaking performance, scoring 56 points and sinking 12 three-pointers, to lead the Golden State Warriors to a thrilling 121-115 victory over the Orlando Magic on Thursday night. Curry’s display, which included a stunning half-court buzzer-beater and a 22-point third quarter that outscored the entire Magic team, was a testament to his legendary shooting prowess.

The Warriors, facing a 17-point deficit, were ignited by Curry’s brilliance. His 12 three-pointers, just two shy of Klay Thompson’s NBA record, were a spectacle for both Warriors and Magic fans alike. Warriors coach Steve Kerr praised Curry’s “audacity” and “fluidity,” noting the widespread appreciation for his extraordinary talent.

“Even the Magic fans, they know they’re witnessing the greatest shooter ever and one of the greatest performers ever,” Kerr remarked.

Curry’s performance was not just about scoring; he also contributed four rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while shooting a perfect 12-for-12 from the free-throw line. Despite a valiant effort from Orlando’s Paolo Banchero, who scored 41 points, Curry’s late three-pointer sealed the victory for the Warriors.

“I’m just blessed, like I always say, to play this game, enjoy the competition, the creativity,” Curry said of his performance.

Meanwhile, in Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to a 121-112 win over the Denver Nuggets, overcoming Nikola Jokic’s impressive triple-double. Antetokounmpo scored 28 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and dished out seven assists, while Jokic recorded 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Bucks’ defensive intensity in the fourth quarter proved decisive, holding Jokic to just six points. Antetokounmpo credited the team’s patience and defensive effort for their victory. “We made some shots and defensively we just made it tough for them,” he said.

The Warriors’ victory, fueled by Curry’s remarkable performance, and the Bucks’ triumph over the Nuggets, showcasing Antetokounmpo’s dominance, highlight the excitement and competitive spirit of the NBA season.
