Kizz Daniel

Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Kizz Daniel, has made a surprising revelation, stating that despite his fame and financial success, he chooses to live a simple life, akin to that of a poor man.

The ‘Buga’ hitmaker took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share his thoughts on wealth and happiness, suggesting that the pursuit of money should not always be the top priority. He argued that contrary to the image often portrayed publicly, many wealthy individuals experience sadness in their lives.

Kizz Daniel further posited that many affluent people are reluctant to disclose the challenges that come with wealth, as they prefer to maintain an image of superiority.

Reflecting on the paradoxical relationship between money and happiness, he wrote on his X page, Why when money come, happiness dey always comot? He also advised his followers to be wary of the often-fabricated happiness displayed on social media.

In response to a user who questioned his stance by pointing out that he seemingly chases money every day, Kizz Daniel replied, Lol I still live like a poor man every day. Na money dey chase me instead.

He further clarified his perspective, stating, Guys, Im not saying dont chase money, Im just saying with money comes problems. People wey get am no go tell una the truth cuz they want to feel superior.

Kizz Daniel’s comments have sparked a debate among his fans and followers, with some agreeing with his sentiments about the complexities of wealth and others questioning the sincerity of his claims given his public success and lifestyle.
